A huge gray and white wolf sauntered through the under bush of the forest. Her mutters can be heard every time her thick, clean coat is snagged in bristles or thorn bushes. Her amber eyes blinked as her tongue lolled in the air outside her huge, teeth-baring maw. Her paws quietly let her move with ease between trees as she her black, wet, wolf nose sniffed the foresty air.
She stopped as a rabbit leap out of a bush which made her give chase. After a quick bite wit her teeth, a rabbit's scream was silenced. Taylor, that is her name, quickly ate her snack before sending a loud howl into the sky. She felt happy that there is space for her to roam in to the wild. Taylor also thought she is alone, but she is greatly mistaken.
Her bush tail went side to side as she started on her romp again. Here and there she howled into the sky as she felt glee as the wind whipped through her face as her paws raced across the forest, leafy ground

"A fluffy little bunny?" A voice trickled teasingly from above the wolf's head, followed by a loud snicker. "Well, aren't you just a monster?" This statement was laced throughout with snide sarcasm, and belonged to a young man perched snugly in the large canopy of branches that stretched high above the forest's soft undergrowth. His feet dangled down and his legs swung back and forth in a manner that expressed mock entertainment. He gazed down at the massive wolf, who's muzzle was tainted with the crimson of her small kill.
Sawyer's nose wrinkled at the scarlet, although a smirk remained smugly stretched across his bemused features. A hare? So generic compared to the coppery delicacy of man. Sawyer preferred hunting species with more intelligence; more instinct; more fear. The young man snorted softly, before nimbly twisting his body from it's entanglement. As he fell gracefully from his perch, bones snapped and elongated, senses heightened and sharpened, and he landed on four paws with a soft, muffled thud.
Shaking his long, dirty white pelt, Sawyer shot this other werewolf a glare. His lips twitched over his sharp, fearsome fangs, and his hackles raised instintively. He didn't know this wolf or it's allegiance, but, as was characteristic, he felt no fear. He was confident if this wolf was to react hostile, he'd be able to counter with dominance. The massive white wolf bowed his head slightly, gazing up at the other wolf fixedly. Analyzing, bracing himself for any sort of reaction.
Detecting no immediate threat, the intensity in his large, chocolate-brown orbs waned, if only slightly. He cocked his head to the side slightly, and opened his huge jaws in a large, doggy yawn. Was there nothing better on the menu? He asked sarcastically, his thoughts transferred to the other wolf telepathically.

With a snarl, Taylor whirled around to meet the stranger. NO. I only hunt rabbits, deer, bears and sometimes wild cats. Only, once I took down a man which I don't want to do anymore. It was horrible, and I feel guilty after that incident. she snorted back with a glare at Sawyer. Her tail lash a bit as she eyed the male before smirking. "You do look startling." she said and raised her head to glare down on Sawyer. "I also should ask you. Why do you come to these parts? I bet there is a reason, but you won't find any humans here. Its not hunting season for them, yet." she said which a cocked head and sniffed at Sawyer with interest.
"So, your a werewolf also? I haven't sense any around here for a long, long time. I come here...once a week to hunt rabbits and other foresty critters." she said a bit humorously and chuckled deeply. "So, what do you prefer to do in the forest? A run in the forest? Hunting game? Or something else?" she asked softly and nodded her huge wold head politely. She felt completely at home with this handsome stranger that is near to her. "I really haven't seen a male werewolf for a while. Last I seen one was years ago." she said with a ducked to Sawyer. Taylor is pretty much interested in Sawyer and cocked her ears with twinkle with curousity(?) in her amber eyes.

No. I only hunt rabbits, deer, bears and sometimes wild cats. Only, once I took down a man which I don't want to do anymore. It was horrible, and I feel guilty after that incident. You do look startling.
Sawyer's smirk widened at the comment, his eyes flashing briefly with darker interest. But as soon as the smirk had tugged at the corners of his muzzle, challenge twisted his features. As the other werewolf raised her head to stare down at him, body language of pure dominance, it was Sawyer's instinct to gather disdain. His ears pricked forward and he straightened his posture; ironed out his demeanor. Lips twitched once more over pink-stained fangs. His gaze was unflinching and gleamed with the ache for challenge. If this werewolf's idea of acquaintance was free of bloody quarrel, she would have to learn quickly that he wasn't going to bow to her in submission.
I also should ask you. Why do you come to these parts? I bet there is a reason, but you won't find any humans here. Its not hunting season for them, yet.
Sawyer snorted, allowing his muscles to relax the slightest. He blinked slowly as the female cocked her head and sniffed at him. So it seemed she wasn't testing his place in any form of hierarchy; Sawyer allowed the bristled hair along his neck to lie flat, which, of course, required quite a large effort. Not everyone obtains the common intelligence that wards them from the forest. Now slightly more relaxed, his 'voice' once again adopted a sarcastic, teasing tone. His face upturned into a dark half-grin. Sometimes, I get lucky. The words were underlain with darkness, and he chuckled lightly.
So, your a werewolf also? I haven't sense any around here for a long, long time. I come here... once a week to hunt rabbits and other foresty critters.
Sawyer stifled another snort and rolled his eyes in an almost unnoticeable manner. Obviously he was a werewolf. What other being exploded from a human form into a massive, terrifying wolf? And Sawyer happened to be quite aware of many werewolf inhabitants of Crossroads, most with whom he shared blood. Where has this woman been, chasing bunnies around trees like a little house cat? Of course not... because that was absurd.
So, what do you prefer to do in the forest? A run in the forest? Hunting game? Or something else? I really haven't seen a male werewolf for a while. Last I seen one was years ago.
Sawyer flicked an ear and heaved another large yawn. He fixed the woman with a probing glance, the corners of his lips tugged into a sly smirk. Competition? Now that did sound interesting. Sawyer's gaze darkened, and he snorted once more. Hunting games? He chuckled darkly, voice thick with teasing sarcasm. Like what, 'see how many birds I can catch'? He snorted, tossing his massive head into the air as he did so. Sorry, little lamb, but games like such don't exactly... pique my interest.
No, Cooper competition was much more drastic, and oftentimes sported the spilling of human blood. However, his paws did itch for movement, and the only thing less entertaining than chasing birds was standing around doing nothing but toss around idle chatter. How about some sparring? He grinned slyly, before leaping toward the female werewolf. He fell into a playful position in front of her, wagging butt in the air and his front legs outstretched in front of him. He wanted to reassure the stranger he was being genuinely friendly, before leaping at her and risk getting his throat torn out. As if he'd allow that. After a moment of holding this position, Sawyer leaped up with a short, happy bark and nipped at the female's ears.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Taylor listened to the male with interest and smiled softly, showing her pearl, white fangs. She ducked her head a little lowly toward the leafy ground. She whisked her tail side to side as she felt a passion to the male and whimpered softly. Her eyes met Sawyers with kindness, friendliness and a twinkling smile in them.
"Sparring sounds perfect." she smirked a little. Her hind end started to wag harshly in a happy manner. Her amber eyes blinked as Sawyer started to act playful. She backed a step when the male leaped at her and she laughed as the male werewolf nipped at her ears. She nudged Sawyer again before starting to roll around the ground a few times before leaping at Sawyer. Her lips nipped at his ears also, "I love your persssonality. her female voice purred affectionately. " So, I shall give you my name. I am Taylor." she smiled, before nipping on the male's right ear again before backing off. She wagged her tail as Taylor's voice did a purring noise again as she winked at Sawyer. She will happily spar with the handsome werewolf.
She rumbled a little as her eyes met Sawyers with a playful threat in them. Taylor is likely looking to see if Sawyer can win her heart or not. Her behavior is sometimes seen when females make males chase them for miles, to choose one personally as a friend or something else.

Sparring sounds perfect.
Sawyer's dark chocolate orbs lingered on the female's for a brief, drawn-out moment, drinking in the kindness that they portrayed. Perhaps it was the naive acceptance this werewolf expressed that coaxed a playful manner from Sawyer; the way that she initially expected him to be of benign nature. If she had been aware of the merciless monster he had the capacity to be, would the twinkling softness in her gaze continue be so generous?
He didn't know.
But as the gray-and-white wolf rolled on her back happily against the ground, offering her vulnerable belly to him in a display of untested trust, Sawyer could feel his curiosity grow. In most cases he would feel inclined to take advantage of she situation; leap forward and bury his jaws in her soft flesh, but the simple idea that this other werewolf assumed him to be a man of... actual decency... was not an unwelcome one. So the female got to her feet unscathed, and when she leapt at Sawyer playfully, nipping at his ears, he chuckled inwardly, running his nose across the length of her jaw as she pulled away from her assault.
I love your personality. So, I shall give you my name. I am Taylor.
It took an effort not to heave a snort of pure disbelief and amusement. His personality? This werewolf, Taylor, had only glimpsed the surface of his true being; had caught wind of a childish side that was so rarely unveiled. She was completely unaware of the dark, malicious person he had the potential to be. She had not witnessed the power-bent, ambition-hungry man that Sawyer was inside. Would she love his personality then, if he had fallen from his tree into an immediate challenge, intent to rip out her throat in proof of his unassailed conceit? He doubted it. But something about the wolf had coaxed out a more tranquil, controlled nature from him, and that was indeed curious.
Sawyer brought his profound gaze back to Taylor's, muddy-brown depths probing and assessing the playful threat in them. How could she be so warm toward a man who was oftentimes so cold? His eyes searched hers for a long moment, as his mind pondered his own foreign friendliness. After a prolonged silence, his face fell from it's confounded stoniness into a playful smirk that tugged at his lips with newfound enthusiasm.
So I suppose this means I owe you a compliment?
He rasped in a baritone purr, his tone still taut with playful, yet characteristically snide, sarcasm. He stepped closer to the female, his haunches swaying left to right in a gentle, slow wag. His grin widened and his eyes flashed with brief mischief. Well Taylor, it is delightful, yet admittedly vexing, to meet you. My name is Sawyer. As far as compliments went with Sawyer, that was pressing the boundaries of decency. Somewhere deep in the werewolf's chest, a low rumble erupted. He suddenly leapt toward Taylor's legs and nipped gingerly at her paws, before leaping away and darting away from her. Now, how fast can you run, little lamb? The wolf shot over his shoulder, voice trembling with a playful rumble. The trees passed him in whizzing blurs and the wind tugged sensationally at his thick, creamy white pelt. His lips pulled over his teeth in a loose grin, and his tongue lolled from his open jaws. OOC ) Feel free to tackle him or anything of the sort. I'm not a biggy on a little god-modding. ^-^ [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Taylor smiled as she felt Sawyer look into her eyes. A playful smirked went across her lips as she slowly wagged her tail. The gray and white female sent a soft, polite rumbled that came from the very depths of her chest. Her huge heart swelled with interest to the male that is interested in her and has a personality of curiosity that now shows in his chocolate orbs.
"Why are you so curious on my attitude, young wolf? Have you seen a female werewolf before?" she chided in a soft, pleasant teasing volume. Her tail started to way furiously as she showed her wolf fangs in a huge grin. Her eyes also show an unjustly love in their amber depths. Her paws itched to do an activity that she has never done before.
She then heard the male started to talk, which ultimately made her ears perk up with interest to Sawyer's words. She heard his name and smiled with a polite voice. "Nice to meet the overly handsome Sawyer." she chuckled softly. He then leaped at her and nipped at her paws. Taylor raised her head and laughed and started to go into a fit of giggles. Letting out a happy howl, she started to dash after the male.
She smiled as she drew beside him and softly winked with a flirt in her amber eyes. Her jaws smiled, once again, she nudged the male affectionately with her snout. "If you want to race, then you have one." she said before softly nipping at Sawyer's ears before taking the lead.

Sawyer couldn't help but feel the slightest bit impressed with how quickly Taylor had caught up with him, drawing near to him and running at an equal pace. She was fast. Sawyer's eyes gleamed with amusement, and he threw his head into the air with inexplicable joy. When the female werewolf nudged him with her snout, Sawyer almost felt the urge to return the gesture. His gaze flooded with sudden vexation, which he cautiously hid from Taylor. What the hell was up with him? Acting pup-like on occasion was forgivable, but this was ridiculous. Some deep burrowed instinct of the werewolf's personality should be shouting at him to tear this female apart.
But no. What was he doing? Running through the woods with a complete stranger, and actually... laughing. Could the grin that stretched across his jaws actually be genuine... or had he simply just been exposed to too much oxygen?
If you want to race, then you have one.
As Taylor bursted ahead, Sawyer's questions were lost as a trickle of playful challenge threatened to shatter the cautious solemnity in his gaze. He threw his head in the air once more, an airy howl trickling from his muzzle and a sneeze from his wet, black nose. I don't think so, little lamb! He growled teasingly before lengthening his stride to match Taylor's quickened pace. He gingerly nipped at the female's hind legs as she trotted ahead, allowing the smallest of grins to return to his lips.
He had to admit, although not openly, that it did feel good. To just be. Running with the wind as a wolf. To have another wolf at his side, and not constantly be ripping at each others throat. The absence of disdain was even... comforting. Sawyer shook his head clear of such thoughts, biting the inside of his cheek with lethal fangs. He could taste the coppery blood on his tongue, but the wound was healed in mere moments. Trying once more to unburden himself of looming questions, the massive wolf barked happily and pressed from his powerful haunches and into a graceful leap. He aimed to knock Taylor from her paws, gingerly enough as to not inflict harm -- although with a pelt as thick as a werewolf's, harm was unlikely, no matter what force he exerted -- but assertive enough to succeed.

Taylor smiled again as Sawyer burst into some more speed. He was now fully ahead of her which made her chuckle. "Ah, you are good with your speed." she said to him softly. Taylor really liked Sawyer's teasing and smiled a bit. Her tail swayed little as her amber eyes blinked as she matched Sawyer with his stride, yet again.
Her amber eyes blinked as she nosed Sawyer affectionately. After a few strides, Sawyer went at her. Taylor laughed as Sawyer barked before letting herself roll with Sawyer's compact. The female werewolf rolled on the ground before she stopped. Her feet peddled the air as she easily scratched at her back as she wriggled back and forth on the ground. She stood up and shook her massive form for a second before smiling at Sawyer.
A few scratches can be seen briefly before they healed up within a minute. Her ears perked as her amber eyes sparkled before she walked up to Sawyer. "That is was fun, Sawyer." she said chuckled cheerfully. She sat down beside Sawyer and nosed him. "What do you think of our lovely run, Sawyer?" she asked with slight interest, before her mouth open up to do a yawn. She nosed the male werewolf again, this time a bit flirty, as her eyes gleamed with interest to Sawyer. They, yet again, showed longing with a mysterious love for Sawyer.

Sawyer observed silently as Taylor rolled from left to right on the ground once more. And like before, his chocolate gaze fell instinctively to the soft fur and flesh of her vulnerable underbelly. How easy it would be, still, to dismantle her. To shake free of this friendly facade and return to his more primitive roots; to rip through her many vital organs with ease. His gaze then shifted to her neck, and he could almost feel the thick stream of crimson pulsing through her body. Open to the merciless tearing of his lethal fangs.
But in a matter of seconds, the female was back to her paws and shaking her pelt free of collected dirt. She was smiling at him, and Sawyer knew the opportunity had passed. Briefly, he wondered if he would have been able to act anyways. The werewolf returned Taylor's grin, although it's genuinity was indeed questionable.
That was fun, Sawyer. What do you think of our lovely run, Sawyer?
As Taylor brought herself closer to him with an airy chuckle, Sawyer allowed the humble, warm facade return to his features; impenetrable and convincing. He drew his tongue gingerly across the female's jaw as she nudged him, cautiously noting the strong emotion that flooded from her gaze. At least I'm getting my exercise. He replied with mock disinterest, his gaze teasing. He would not provide her with the words she wished to hear, that he was actually enjoying their acquaintance, for he himself, was unsure. But that didn't mean he couldn't play along until he sorted himself out.

Taylor's tail whisked at the ground slightly as she heard Sawyer. "So, what do you want to do now?" she said calmly. Her amber eyes smiled brightly as she saw the teasing and disinterest in the male werewolf's eyes. Her ears cocked back and forth with interest as she listened to Sawyer.
Taylor blinked as she softly whimpered politely. Her gray and white fur moved with the wind that flew by her body. Her eyes yearned for a night with Sawyer and her eyes blinked slowly. Her body ached to be near Sawyer, even though she knows that the male may need privacy. Taylor sleepily looked up at the male as another whimper was sounded from her chest.
Yet, again, her paws ached for another run. "DO you want to race again? Or are you too tired, Sawyer?" she asked softly.

So, what do you want to do now?
Sawyer's lips tugged against his teeth as a charming grin spread across his muzzle. He gazed warmly down into Taylor's large eyes, their beauty intensified by the alluring drowsiness she had laced their amber depths with. He blinked slowly, pondering the possible thoughts the female had locked behind her resplendent brown orbs. The male whined softly, almost inaudibly, before pressing his cold, wet nose to her ear and nipping it softly.
Do you want to race again? Or are you too tired, Sawyer?
At these words, Sawyer's grin morphed into a smirk of more playful, mischievous nature. Tired? Never. He tugged at the female's ear gingerly, before leaping away from her and rolling onto his back. He pushed his body from side to side in a happy manner, his white pelt instantly made darker with grass and dirt. And so they had come to a crossroads, perhaps, even a compromise of trust. To her, he now offered his own vital organs. And while it may not have seemed much to Taylor, it certainly was a milestone for Sawyer. Grinning and sneezing as the werewolf inhaled the dust he had unsettled, Sawyer stopped his silly sway and just laid motionless on his back, forelegs drawn up to his massive, heaving chest like some furry praying mantis.
What would you like to do, Taylor, dear? Hasn't anyone told you that your preference is valued as well?
Sawyer asked softly, his voice a little less snide, although still peppered with small overtures of playful teasing. The werewolf's gaze had fallen back on the female from his peripheral, and he spared her a friendly smile. A genuine one; he knew so from the warmth it coaxed from deep within his chest. Taylor giggled slightly when the male nipped at her ear. Her snout smiled as her tail wagged a bit more quickly then before. Her amber eyes sparkled a lot more, as she liked the male werewolf then before. "So, you are always ready to go and go some more?" she chuckled softly and yawned again. "I am getting awfully tired." Taylor said with a bit of humor in her female voice.
Her eyes shined again as she watched Sawyer roll around on the ground. She eyes turned to the sky again realized that the sky is starting to get dark. The female werewolf smiled again as she saw Sawyer's playfulness. Her paws pawed the ground before going at Sawyer.
Her tongue started to lick him everywhere. Her wet young found Sawyer's legs, chest, face and belly. "How spend the night together, in the forest. I mean... sleep together?" she asked politely as she nudged the male werewolf all over the place. She felt Sawyer's kindness and rumbled politely, as she met his eyes with deep love for him in her Amber eyes.

As Taylor affectionately groomed his body, Sawyer remained rigid and unmoving on his back. When her muzzle found the soft places of his underbelly, his muscles tensed instinctively, gathering the strength needed to counter the female if she was to attack him. His eyes narrowed into chocolate shards and with the twitch of a lip, his teeth were bared in a silent snarl. Only silent because he managed to choke back the growl that threatened to rip through his throat. He was being paranoid. But a paranoid wolf was more use than a dead one, that was certain.
How about we spend the night together, in the forest. I mean... sleep together?
Sawyer forced the tension from his body, convinced now that Taylor had no intent to disembowel him. Pulling himself to his paws and giving his creamy-white pelt a dramatic shake, Sawyer let his eyes meet those of Taylor's. Of course he had never been one to turn down the opportunity of a good time, and he obviously had no objection to bunking up with practical strangers in the past, but yet Sawyer felt rather unsettled. Maybe it was the emotion that poured so strongly from Taylor's gaze, or possibly the fact that neither of them were shit-faced drunk.
The forest is a little too dirty, for my likes. He responded smoothly, his speech flawless but laced with a tone that expressed his hesitance. He gazed at Taylor for a prolonged moment, before blinking slowly. His gaze fell to her paws, and he opened his jaws in a large, doggy yawn.
She was different. Sawyer couldn't imagine sleeping with her the way she had proposed; a quick, impulsive interaction lacking passion -- at least on his part. Most relationships in the werewolf's life consisted of loose women, ten shots of liquor, and long, hot nights that he could almost never remember in the morning. Of course, there had been exceptions; one or two women whom he had actually felt a pure connection with, but never had he contemplated the idea of pursuing such minor luxuries.
Raising his eyes back to Taylor's he narrowed them in the slightest, gaze searching her face for understanding. The profound feeling in her eyes sill perplexed him, and he nudged his nose beneath her chin, tossing her head up before drawing his tongue across her jawline. No, he couldn't imagine Taylor on his couch like the others. But he could imagine her, wrapped innocently in his warm embrace late at night, listening to nothing but each others breathing as they fell into a dreamless sleep. That was starting somewhere, right?

Taylor took a step backwards to let Sawyer be on his paws. Her amber eyes blinked slowly as she saw the narrowed chocolate orbs of the male werewolf. The female werewolf wagged her tail to saw her friendliness and did not want to be seen as an enemy. Her eyes twitched as she waited for Sawyer's answer to her past question.
She heard his answer to his question and cocked her head. "Forest... too dirty for you?" she asked before pausing. "If it is, we can spend the night at my place or...home." she smiled softly before waiting as emotions went across Sawyer's face.
Taylor smiled again as she saw the yawn. "Well, you do look sleepy to me." she said with a soft touch to Sawyer's shoulder in friendliness and politeness. She stared around again with a soft gaze and sighed softly. "It will still be a great night under the stars. It will be also free from prying eyes." her eyes twinkled as she whispered the words to Sawyer as she cocked her head slightly to the right, again.
She sighed softly as Sawyer lifted her chin as he licked her jaw. Taylor blinked, "I have always had many dreams and wishes to spend my time with someone that catches my soul in his embrace." the female werewolf said as she felt licks on her jaw. "I have never met someone that meets my lonely soul, except today." the huge gray and white werewolf smiled as returned a lick to Sawyer's jaw. "You have captured my soul, Sawyer." the female voice said with a soft and calmness.
