Bio:
Clark was not the best type of person during his life. He was always rather snarky and crude when it came to conversation and interactions with others. However, he did have a 'heart of gold,' so to speak. Most of his good deeds were done out of the public eye. It was these interactions that caught the eye of a particular angel of death on the night Clark got into an almost fatal car wreck with a semi-truck.
After leaving his office one night, Clark attempted to drive home. It was late – perhaps three in the morning. He didn't remember nodding off behind the wheel. Clark remembered waking in his mind to a figure he can't quite remember, telling him to make a choice: die with people thinking he was somewhat of a Scrooge, or continue on with life, baring his consequences and becoming a Reaper. Needless to say, Clark chose the option that would allow him to right his attitude.
