So . . . I was always wondering why people seem to avoid OOC chatting on roleplay forums. My thoughts are just that they're so focused on IC roleplaying, but people have more time than it seems with waiting and all. Any opinions (if anyone answers)?

You're right about the IC posts thing, I'm usually so focused on that then OOC Chat, sometimes I don't really think about OOC chat.
I think some people are just afraid to start a OOC chat, they might be afraid of being criticized or being thought stupid. That's just my guess though.

Or they could just be in the mindset that even if they start one, no one will reply. I hate it when that happens.

I just prefer to chat on the chat-box. Rather than click on the thread an' such =P . I'm lazy beyond lazyness, lol.
Anyone watch any good movies lately?

I just watched Timeline. Old enough to be watched on VHS!
The chat-box is great and all, but sometimes I actually like to write out some conversations, or just see opinions and not have to depend on the c-box to remember everything.
C-box = Quick Talk Threads = Long Debates/Discussions or Gathering Opinions (since everyone can see the first post anywho)

My personal opinion runs along lines with ChasingShadow's. On sites such as this one I strive to appear professional and intelligent. Mainly because the majority of the sites that I've taken part in the past were strictly IC; when I shoveled up enough nerve to actually post an OOC thread, it was either completely ignored or trolled.
