Misreading Stuff In The Worst Way

Yeah. I just had one of those moments. You know, where you're kinda too lazy, so you just let your eyes skim over everything. Then you have to do a double take 'cause what your brain registered was something completely nuts like

"He then ran her over, laughing hilariously."
You know, as opposed to what it really said;
"The then ran over to her, laughing hilariously."

Something small like that, but you're still like |o.O|

My moment, just now? I read passed the "Showing off my friend's talents" in the graphics thing.
What my brain processed:
"Shaving off my friend's..." You can see why I needed to do a double take, like |o.O| .

So, what are some of your worst misreadings? Or funny, whatever xD

I've totally had moments where I'm telling someone "Hold on just a sec," but because I'm in such a rush to get to whatever I'm doing, I type "Hold on must a sex." And the "m" and "j" are too close for my liking, as well! Not MY fault they conveniently place the "x" next to the "c" on the keyboard. >_>

I had similar misunderstandings... but with songs.

For example. When I was a kid, for the national anthem (Canadian) It says "We stand on guard for thee." .... I used to think is said "We stand on 'God'". Always thought that was a little strange... but I figured 'It's the national anthem... so I'm sure other people don't worry about these kinda things. I mean, I didn't make a national anthem before, so what do I know about it?'

And then... Silent Night. ... Oh Silent Night >.< The famous Christmas song

Silent night,
Holy night,
All is calm,
All is bright

Yeah, we all know the one. ...
Know when it says "Holy infant so" .... For the longest time when I was, like 3-6 or something like that, I was singing
"Holy imbecile so tender and mild," during the Christmas thing at the church! >.< ... and at school, and... yeah... Silly children I was kinda a stupid child xD
