((This is "Why can't we be friends? (Serena) continued. We'd love it if loads of people popped in. It is supposed to be a bar, after all xD. ))
”Great.” Making her way out the door, Serena lead the way towards the Rush. As usual at this time of night, a line-up was against the building. She wasn't exactly sure what was in this building, actually, she didn't think anyone did. At least not at night. It was always closed by seven at least. Probably some crappy store. She glanced at the window, but chains that slid across the window blocked her view. They were in case someone smashed the window to break in, though she couldn't imagine who would want to- A glitter caught her eye, and Serena paused turning around and looking back into the window. Jewelry sparkled back in the street lights. Oh. Well, that would explain it, then. Serena loved jewelry.
They paused in line, Serena glancing around, and smirking as she caught the eye of one of the guys in line. From a glance, she would have guessed he was in his early twenties. Probably just became legal for drinking. A few of his friends stood beside him, and he turned back to them after smiling back, talking. Serena continued watching him, the smirk still on her lips. When he next glanced over at them, she winked, turning slightly herself to Annie. ”They're going to be our ticket in.” She purred to the girl, glancing out of the corner of her eye to the boys. Two were looking in their direction now, and she smiled, looking downwards almost bashfully.
It was a few minutes of this off an on flirting before finally the first one waved her over. Taking Annie's hand, she walked with her over, hips swaying in an almost lazy way that made it seem she was walking slower than she actually was. ”Hey boys. What brings you to the Rush?” ”It's Ash's birthday today. You ladies care to celebrate with us?” ”We'd love to! It's Annie's birthday today too!” She said, nudging her friend forward and pleading she'd just go with the lie. It really shouldn't be that difficult if she just kept her lips sealed and blushed a lot. Or if she was able to keep it up, that would be great too.

Anna walked with Serena, looking at the sparkling jewels in the store window. There were necklaces of sapphire, pearl earrings, ruby and diamond rings, and countless other things far,far out of her price range. She then saw the neon lights of The Rush and faced forward and heard Serena say something. She briefly wondered how the group would their ticket in.
Anna took a look at the two guys,Ash was African American with high cheek bones and almond shaped eyes. While the other one was Caucasian and slightly older with deep green eyes and light blonde hair. She found both rather handsome.
Then she heard the say it was her birthday and of course use her real name.Serena seemed to want her acknowledge the lie and she wondered if she really should. It didn't take long however to tell herself exactly where morals and ethics should go tonight. So with butterflies in her stomach, she simply nodded.

A slow smirk crossed Serena's lips as Annie nodded. For a brief moment, she thought that perhaps she was a little bit too much of a bad influence on the girl. A very brief moment. Everyone needed to spontaneous and law-breaking once and a while. You only live once, after all. Well, Serena believed she had nine lives, so she wasn't really all that worried about anything that happened. And Annie? Well, Annie was a werewolf. If an itty bitty human club was what did her in, then perhaps she wasn't quite tough enough to be considered a supernatural. Serena didn't know, but from what she could dimly remember, Annie had done quite a number on those voodoo doll... things. Surely the girl could handle it.
She chatted, mostly aimlessly, with the guys in front of them. The line, as lines usually did, moved onwards at a painfully slow pace. Eventually, they made it to the doors, and the bouncer looked at them as he would others. The boys passed by with a nod, but the large man was just putting out an arm when they turned around, ”They're with us. Celebrating Ash's birthday.” There was a flicker of hesitation before the bouncer nodded and waved them in, returning his attention to the next people in line. ”Did Annie have any plans?” Serena grinned, looking over at the girl and giving her a small nudge. ”I'm not sure. She's sort of the shy type. Would one of you mind showing her what it is to have a great time?” She asked with a laugh, teasingly pushing Annie towards one of the guys in the group, a wink soon following.
She watched, eyes sparkling mischievously before turning to Ash. His other friends dispersed to dance and mingle, and they went to the bar, Serena leaning against it and managing to snag two of the bar stools in the process. Propping herself up, Ash order himself a drink. ”Would you like one?” ”I'll have a chocolate martini, please.” She told the bartender. So what if it was a 'girly' drink, she had a set of ovaries for a reason. ”So Birthday Boy. Have you gotten your birthday spankings yet?” She asked with a wink once they got their drinks. Ash was drinking, and the drink suddenly ended up spraying into his hand. She chuckled, leaning forward slightly and brushing her finger nails along his arm. ”I... I probably should have mentioned this sooner, but... I have a girlfriend.” Serena's smirk slowly faded, and she raised an eyebrow. ”Well pooey. Am I supposed to care?” The smirk came back, and she leaned forward, going in for a kiss before he pulled away. She paused and sighed, rolling her eyes and turning to the bar, drinking her drink. ”Well, thanks for this.” She raised it at him before slipping off the stool and disappearing into the crowd of people.

Anna gave a quick look around,Serena was gone alright. She then looked at the two males in front of her and used one of the few conversational lines she knew,"Hi." They gave a slightly perplexed look and replied the same way."So what are your names?" "I'm Xavier,"said the green-eyed man,"and this is Ash."" "My name's Annamarie, but you can call me Anna, but Serena already introduced me."
"So,uh..." This is when having a social disorder never really comes in handy. She worried about making an idiot of herself so she thought fast. "Do you read comic books?" She looked at their faces,Xavier's smirk gave away the fact that he knew where she got the idea from. "More of a Tolkien fan myself." added Ash.Anna gave a quick grin,"Really me too! My favorite characters are Merry,Pippin and Gandalf." She loved Merry and Pippin for their humor and Gandalf for his sheer awesomeness."My precious!",Xavier exclaimed in a rather creepy voice.

Making her way through the crowd, Serena eventually found Annie, with Ash. Her eyes narrowed slightly, and she slunk up beside her friend, wrapping her arm around her waist and pulling her close. "Hey boys. Having the time of your life?" "My precious." Serena blinked, giving a side-ways curious glance to Annie. 'What the hell is his problem?' her look said. After a few moments of awkward pause, Serena cleared her throat. "Annie! You seem to be missing a drink. Take mine." She smoothly handed her the drink Ash had payed for, and called for another one, slipping some cash over from her cleavage. Safest place to put money, if you asked her.

Anna held on to the drink, feeling awkward."It's alright, they just like Tolkien." Although it's hard to like him when he paired Arwen with Aragon instead of Legolas! She gave Ash a confused look,"But I don't remember them saying a word to each other-" "She's right,Arwen obviously belongs with Aragon and Legolas belongs with Gimli!" Anna had always thought Legolas and Gimli were just extremely close, but she had been online enough to know to stay quiet when people argued about coupling, besides it was as if... Gimlas!,Ash's voice erupted. "Legwen!" Oh no,they went there. There were certain boundaries even the most diehard fan was never meant to cross, combining names was one of those boundaries. She knew she had to warn Serena, she looked up and sure enough the two were still fighting. She whispered,"I've met nuts like these on the internet, the best thing to do is run fast and no matter how ridiculous this gets-" She was temporarily distracted by "This is as stupid as the time you shipped Snape and Hermione. She continued,"don't argue with them,it just makes them louder and dumber." She got up and motioned for Serena to quietly go to another table farther back."Better than Hedwig and Dumbledore!" She clutched her stomach.
(OOC:Sadly the only alternate couple I don't know doesn't exists is Hedwig and Dumbledore.)

((Ew, "fans" are gross >.< ))
She really couldn't say she knew what the hell this "Toliken" was, but she sure did know she didn't want to know what it was. Then the nerds were arguing over something that sounded ridiculous. Serena was about ninety-nine percent sure that these people didn't even exist. It seemed sort of pointless arguing over something that was completely made up. She sighed, rolling her eyes upward and squinting slightly as LED lights shone into them for a brief moment before spinning off in some other direction. "I've met nuts like these on the internet, the best thing to do is run fast and no matter how ridiculous this gets-." She was cut off suddenly by the arguing. "Don't argue with them, it just makes them louder and dumber." Even if she'd wanted to jump into this little argument war, a) she had no idea what they were talking about, and b) they were arguing enough with each other that she just would have been butted out.
She was ushered away by the young teen, and once they were far enough away, Serena paused, leaning against a -probably- germ covered table. "What on earth did you say to them to get them talking like that?" She asked suddenly, glancing back over. Ash had seemed perfectly fine when she had been talking to him. Just like an average, hormonal guy who was too devote to his fiance to do anything. Certainly had they been together long enough to even consider marriage, he wouldn't have minded so much, but people now a days jumped into relationships much too quickly. She sighed, looking to the side and sipping her creamy drink. It burned pleasantly as it slid down her throat.
"Well, finish up your drink." She teased Annie, suddenly snapping out of her downed mood. "Let's go dancing." She, herself, tossed back her drink, and almost instantly her head felt dizzy and light. The faster you drank, the faster you became drunk, and she wanted Annie to, at the very least, have a pleasant buzz once they got onto the floor. Girl needed to loosen up.

Sawyer's gaze traveled to a giggly brunette who's arms were wrapped suggestively around the waist of a large, burly man. A brawl sure would be interesting, and he always liked dark-haired women... especially the totally unobtainable kind. A smirk twitched at the edges of his lips as he began a determined stride toward the couple; an air of confrontation lingering in the cocky way that he held himself. But he didn't get far before another sight brought him to an abrupt stop.
Two young ladies -- most likely younger than they should be -- at the bar. He analyzed them individually, his chocolate gaze slowly examining their pleasing bodies and appealing attire. One, obviously a bit more loose than the other, wore a fun-seeking demeanor and a beautiful, short, sparkly silver dress. She threw back the rest of her drink quickly and briefly Sawyer wondered what the sparkly silver dress looked like on the floor. The other girl, younger and dressed in a girly blue dress, appeared rather uptight and held no drink in her palm. Hmm, probably the innocent type. He wouldn't waste too much time on her, if after a minute or two it became clear that "mature male/female interaction" was something she was uncomfortable with. But the other girl, he figured she was worth a shot.
Sawyer felt his violent intentions melt into ones more... typical to a hormonal young man in the presence of two very "capturing" females. Blinking slowly, his smirk twisted into a crooked, charismatic grin. His stance descended from it's threatening ambiance and into a more relaxed demeanor that was both inviting and clear at the same time. Swiftly changing his direction, former couple completely forgotten, the young werewolf picked his way over to the two girls.
"I see you've finished your drink," he began, not a trace of hesitance in his voice as he addressed Serena with an initial statement of the obvious. His speech was only the slightest bit slurred; he'd been at the club for quite a while and had slowly accumulated a "more-than-the-normal" BAC percentage. Fire burned in his veins; thick, dangerous flames of confidence that licked at the walls of his entire being. "Please, amuse me with the name of this mentioned beverage, that is soon to perplex your liver..." Pausing in his small, mindless ramble, Sawyer decided to abandon it all together and continue. ".. or let me interest you, and/or your friend, in another?"

”I see you've finished your drink.” Serena turned to see a rather charming looking young man behind her. There was something about him that screamed 'cocky', and Serena supposed it was just one of those 'takes on to know one' instances. Her eyes ran down his body, travelling slowly and with full intentions of either making him feel uncomfortable, or boosting the confidence she believed she could feel radiating off of him. It really all depended on his personality, the outcome of the look, and a slow, languid smirk crossed her lips. Her eyes took on a mysterious appearance as she batted them downwards, looking up at him from her lashes and making herself look a little bit on the small, defenceless side. The rest of her stance completely contradicted the look, though. Full of confidence and whispers of untold pleasure waiting just beneath the cloth.
”Please, amuse me with the name of this mentioned beverage, that is soon to perplex your liver... or let me interest, and or your friend, in another.” He had an incredibly strange way of wording things that, for a moment, threw Serena slightly off her game. It was only a flicker of surprise before she'd recomposed herself, and her grin returned. She couldn't be completely sure if he were trying to be charming, or chivalrous, or what, but it was the twenty-first century. ”Sometimes less words are better, hun.” She teased him, stepping forward and allowing her fingers to play along the fabric covering his chest. She blinked her dark lashes before glancing over her shoulder at Annie. ”I think we would definitely enjoy another drink, wouldn't we, Annie?” She asked the girl with a wink before she stepped back and wrapped her arm around her waist.
Her free hand gently twirled Annie's hair between her fingers, before ducking behind her and wrapping both of her arms around her waist and resting her chin on her friend's shoulder with a wickedly teasing grin. She wasn't entirely sure how Annie would take to female flirting, but she was going to subtly test it as she swayed their bodies slowly to the music. ”I was kind of thinking of having a mudslide. I doubt Annie's had one before, she'll love them.” Tilting her head into the hair resting against Annie's ear, and she whispered loud enough for the three of them to hear. ”They're deliciously chocolatey.” She purred.

As the dark-haired beauty's gaze slowly explored him, Sawyer found himself stumbling into a deep pit of dark temptation. She was such a dangerous contradiction, she knew how to play the game, and she played it well. For all he knew, he could be the pawn on the board, moving at whim for the betterment of the queen's well-being. But at the same time, his narrow-tracked mind, buzzing with slight intoxication, didn't have the capability to give a damn.
”Sometimes less words are better, hun.”
Sawyer parted his lips to counter her teasing words with an equally teasing remark, but as her fingers gingerly brushed across his chest, the witty retort was lost and forgotten in a light, breathy chuckle. His chocolate gaze wandered into her mysterious eyes, half-hidden by her dark lashes. He noted the hunger in her eyes which sent a deep chill down his spine and it went all the way down to his toes. He leafed his tongue across the roof of his mouth slowly, a subconscious habit. His gaze didn't waver from Serena's, in fact, it only lured him in more. There was so much underneath the surface and he wanted to find out what exactly she was hiding in the depths of those beautiful eyes of hers. The possibilities pulled at the corners of his mouth, curving them into an small, almost frightening smile.
Finally his gaze was torn from hers as she made her way over to her friend, wrapping herself around the younger girl like a cat. As the charming tabby purred her words with a mysterious, seductive tone -- a tone that made men less-composed men tremble, the tone that lingered in their ears, lending a pleasant vibration to their skull -- Sawyer's attention momentarily shifted, searching the younger girl's face with twisted curiosity. Where did she stand on this fast-paced gameboard?

Annamarie was upset that Serena knew she didn't want to drink but was pressuring her anyway. She nonetheless didn't allow her anger to show, after all overly displayed emotions led to teasing and she didn't want to look childish. If you asked her that and the silent treatment was why rocks lived a long,taunt-free life. If I run out of ideas I will take out the contacts and say I have Jaundice, what are the chances they will wonder why I lack any symptoms besides somewhat yellow eyes? They probably don't know that much about Jaundice anyway.
She looked at the brown eyed man and realized he was looking at Serena.Closer observation revealed friendly teasing and flirting which made her conclude that he liked her which meant whatever silent plan Serena had was working. And I thought I was cunning and knew how to manipulate things to my advantage.Knowing how people work is my thing,MY THING! Nevertheless, she kept a calm yet interested look on her face. She saw that the other werewolf was giving her a strange look and realized he was analyzing her which was one of her pet peeves. One,it was also her thing, two she knew that if she couldn't be strong at least she could be smart and if everyone else knew how to be smart and make the cards turnout in their favor, well her special ability to do just that wasn't so special anymore was it?
Anna realized she might be acting a bit paranoid and that might just happen to be how he was by nature and relaxed. She also broke her rather intense eye contact or "werewolf headology" as they might say in Discworld that she had just realized she was making with a complete stranger."What's your name?"

"What's your name?"
An eyebrow arched, only slightly. She obviously wasn't too adept with this game. Didn't play much. Of course, the question wasn't unwelcome or wrong, just uncommon in such a scene; especially when another attractive woman was shamelessly entwining herself around you. The situation was similar to yelling 'touchdown' at a baseball game, a perfectly acceptable exclamation -- just in the wrong context. Most of the time Sawyer exchanged names breathlessly as clothes were in the process of being shed, and in some cases afterward when they were being put back on. Then it only seemed necessary.
"Sawyer," The young werewolf countered after a quick moment, his voice adopting a small polite tone as he was slightly thrown off by the girl's question. His gaze flickered from Serena's to Annie's while his hand ventured to his back pocket, resting on his dark leather wallet, thickly packed like it usually was when he came to The Rush; he was a sensible man and never left the Rush without a woman's arm looped around his waist, and that sometimes took numerous -- always expensive -- drinks. "And who am I buying these for?" He inquired, only because he now felt obligated to.
ooc: feel free to god-mod the buying of drinks if you wish.

Serena herself was curious as to what the man's answer was going to be. Her arms tightened the slightest bit around Annamarie's torso, hands running up along her side. The dress crumpled, riding up the slightest bit before Serena brought to mind exactly what the girl's age was, and dropped it. Was it still considered statutory rape if they were of the same gender? And there wasn't really... any undressing involved? Yet. A slow smirk crossed Serena's lips, though her arms loosened a little. She found it was a lot easier to get along with women when she was hitting on them. Perhaps that was just some messed up flaw in her personality. So far, Serena found she couldn't really complain. If the other girls didn't like it, more often than not, the guys watching did. "Sawyer." Her eyes flicked away from Annamarie's neck, going back to Sawyer's face before she grinned again.
He reached his hand into his pocket, and Serena noted the definite bulge behind his hand. Her eyes flickered for a moment, glancing away before back down to it, her grin turning to something of the more mischievous variety. So he had money? "And who am I buying these for?" Her eyes turned to Annamarie for a moment, as though calculating how she was taking all of this. For a fifteen year old, she was taking to this with quite an interesting air. Too bad the poor girl was a bit of a nerd, but Serena had full intentions to work that to its fullest advantage. Either way, it seemed like she could, so without a second thought, Serena's arms unraveled from around the girl's torso, running down and taking her arm gently but firmly. Leading her over to Sawyer, Serena flashed him an otherwise angelic grin before slipping Annamarie's arm around his waist and slipping around to his other side to do the same.
Her own arm was against Annamarie's, urging it to remain there. "That's my friend Annie." She leaned up, lips just brushing his ear lobe. "And I'm going to make your dreams come true." The tease was followed by a smirk that ended on a light nip to his neck. The three sauntered their way over to the bar, Serena instantly kidnapping three vacant stools and making extra sure that Sawyer sat in the middle. Normally she would have opted to be in the middle, however the more malicious side of her knew that he would have to turn to talk to either of them. Either excluding or including. Of course, the more skilled of them could just lean against the bar itself, including them both. Her eyes flashed, watching him closely before the tender came over.
With the cockiest smirk known to man, Serena's index finger gently brushed against Sawyer's shoulder, lingering there as she spoke. "He's buying for us. And I'll be having a mudslide, please." Once the other two ordered their drinks, and said drinks were brought and given to them, Serena took hers. Her finger dipped into the chocolate shaving-covered whipped cream, bringing it up to her lips and sucking it off. The finger was removed from her mouth with a light popping sound, and while she hadn't looked at Sawyer through the whole operation, the small side glance and smirk was enough to inform him that she was definitely still playing with him. Even more so now that she had a drink in her hands.
Turning her body, her foot gently bumped against Sawyer's leg. Her ankle moved slightly, the side of her heels brushing against him before she pulled away her leg as though nothing had happened. "Thanks for the drinks, Sawyer." She grinned, watching him avidly as she took the straw between her lips and sucking softly.
Serena shifted in her seat slightly, causing her dress to ride up, showing just a little more thigh before stopping. It was something she did on purpose. She wanted Sawyer's eyes on her. While that wasn't really fair to poor Annie, the girl would have to learn to fight to put Serena in her place, if she really pissed her off that much. A long and complicated string of events including stealing guys from her hold, and besting her in the art of seduction. Something Serena was confident would never happen, so while Annie was her friend, Serena still felt no remorse in stealing all of the attention from Sawyer. In fact, she wouldn't feel much remorse in leaving with the guy and going off somewhere nice, comfortable, and private. "Soo..." She purred, eyes back on Sawyer. "What kind of job do you have that you have so much money to waste at the bar on pretty little women?" Her hand trailed from her own lap onto his, creeping up his leg before her fingertips gently pressed against the wallet through his pants. With a smirk, her lips closed over the straw again, though her hand remained where it was.

As the two girls looped their arms around his waist, Sawyer felt a purr of small satisfaction run along the length of his spine. When the trio had found their seats and Serena began to order her drink, he turned to Annie, his chocolate gaze studying her face more closely. He'd already concluded that the bar wasn't exactly her scene, but now he could sense, a little better, her slight discomfort. Cautiously, he brushed his hand against her bare arm and leaned over slightly. "Order whatever you want, I promise I'm not going to force alcohol down your throat." He mused softly, his tone more brotherly now than flirty and accompanied with a comforting smile.
When the bartender's gaze fell upon him, he nodded and began leafing through his wallet, speaking while doing so. "Just a Blue Moon for me, if you would." he said, fishing out a pair of bills and offering them to the waiting man, knowing full well it was enough no matter what Annie ordered. He folded the leather back up and shoved it into his pocket once more, and by the time he was repositioned comfortably enough, his beer was already in front of him.
Gripping the cold glass between soft hands he raised it to his lips, the edges of them curling the slightest at Serena's 'inconspicuous' contact. "Thanks for the drinks, Sawyer." Taking his time in the sweet wetting of his throat, he simply nodded, his gaze absorbing every detail of the woman's practiced tact. Her heavily exposed skin, the practiced purse of her thick lips... and then her touch. "What kind of job do you have that you have so much money to waste at the bar on pretty little women?" Lowering the drink back to the bar, he grinned. Wasn't she the charm?
"Waste? I hardly think so." The corners of his eyes creased as he allowed his thin lips to widen the slightest. "Whatever it takes, yes?" He concluded in a lowered whisper, avoiding her initial question as his fingers gently brushed hers and he slowly turned his attention to Annie, chocolate-brown eyes flashing briefly with stifled mischief as he did so. He could taste Serena's confidence on his tongue and wondered how she'd take to being momentarily ignored. Oh god, she was beautiful and knew how to bat her eyes, but he was curious to see how the queen played when her king was in check.
"So Annie... is that short for, Annabelle; Annalise; Annamarie; or...?" he trailed, his voice -- carefully abandoning any teasing tone for the sake of the girl's comfort -- hinting question. With ill intentions forgot, he managed to search her face in a new light; innocently noting her round, youthful features and admiring her blue-green eyes.

Annamarie turned to the man who was talking,he said had said something very to what Serena had said--- before she had started ordering drinks for her! He had better mean that.,she thought."Annamarie." Why did she have to be named for the woman whom she always thought was embarrassed to have had her."Call me Anna,Annie always sounds like Little Orphan Annie." She smiled,he was handsome but she didn't want to be jail bait. After all,he was what? 20?
She thought to herself that she should say something beside that.So she went with one of the oldest questions in the book."If you could be any animal, what one would you be?"
