Demons have been around since the dawn of time, they are cruel merciless creatures. They enjoy causing pain and chaos.
All demons have a special ability to their voice, they can have to the untrained ear a soothing and convincing sound to it, making those listening to it believe they are their friend.
Only people who are trained to recognize it are able to hear their real voice and know their true self.
All demons have venom. Once in the body, depending on the person the venom side affects will act quickly or take several minutes to appear.
The first symptom is hallucinations, the second is an intense burning feeling throughout the body, the third is the victim will become paralyzed, then death.
The only cure for demon venom is holy water, which must be injected into the blood stream. They will afterwards have an intense fever and periodically feel a burning sensation throughout their body
Lesser Demons
They are the less powerful and less intelligent of the demons,
they are not able to take human form like the uppers but they are able to possess any living body, including animals.
Upper Demons
They are the more powerful ones, they unlike the lessers can take human form as well as possess. They have many other abilities like being able to control fire and teleporting.

- A demon's voice is a vital part of their being, they are able manipulate people with it, convincing them of anything. Only people trained to know their voice will know their true intentions and identity.
- Holy objects such as holy water, crucifixes and so on can severely harm a demon.
- All demons can make themselves invisible to everyone except angels.
- Demons can also be harmed by salt and silver.
- Upper demons can summon lesser demons.
- To kill a demon one must stab him in the heart or behead it
- Demon venom can only make angels and vampires sick, not kill them.
- Lesser demons fear angels.
